16 Teams Advance to Stanley Cup Playoffs

The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced that 16 teams have qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, including the Edmonton Oilers.
The playoff format will follow a set bracket that is largely division-based. The top three teams from each division, as well as two wild card teams from each conference, will advance to the postseason.
The Oilers secured their playoff spot with a strong regular season performance, finishing third in the Pacific Division. They will face a tough opponent in the first round, as they are likely to face the Colorado Avalanche, the top team in the Western Conference.
