The Boston Celtics are one of the most decorated teams in NBA history, having won a record 17 NBA Championships. Their first title came in 1957, and they went on to win eight more championships in a row from 1959 to 1966. Led by Bill Russell and Bob Cousy, the Celtics dominated the league during that era. They won two more titles in 1968 and 1969, and then added four more championships from 1974 to 1976 and 1981 to 1984. The Celtics' most recent title came in 1986.
