January 2024 Growth

The UK economy returned to growth in January 2024, with GDP rising by 0.2%. This expansion was largely attributed to a recovery in the services sector.

Fourth Quarter of 2023

UK GDP is estimated to have declined by a revised 0.3% in the fourth quarter of 2023 (October to December). This contraction was primarily due to a decline in industrial production.
